I am a New York State Licensed Massage Therapist. My approach to bodywork is holistic and I respect the body’s innate wisdom. I believe that massage facilitates the body’s ability to heal itself by affecting the parasympathetic nervous system’s relaxation response. I have personal experiences of healing through massage which drove me to this field after 20 years in sales and marketing as a professional in the entertainment business. I have also received certified training in smoking cessation counseling by the Orange County Health Department and I am a level II Reiki Practioner. I specialize in Equestrian Massage as well.
My massage style is based on the client’s needs and preferences. I specialize in Swedish aromatherapy massage, incorporating elements of reflexology, shiatsu, guasha, heat / cold therapy and Reiki in a normal session. I also apply stretching, rocking and range-of-motion movements along with trigger point and myofascial release. A client could receive a combination of many treatments or a full hour of a specific modality such as Deep Tissue Massage or Reflexology.
I also offer a unique smoking cessation counseling and massage package to help you stop smoking.
